Itinerary

Day 1:

1. Departure from Bangalore

• Time: Early morning, around 7:00 AM to avoid traffic and make the most of the day.
• Route: Take the NICE Ring Road and then proceed towards Kanakapura Road (SH 35), which will lead you towards your destination.

2. En Route Breakfast

• Location: Various options are available along the route, such as Kanakapura Road or Ramanagara, where you can stop for a quick breakfast.

3. Arrival at Gaganachukki Falls

• Time: Around 11:00 AM – 12:00 AM
• Details: Gaganachukki Falls is one of the two main falls of the Shivanasamudra Falls, located on the Kaveri River. It's known for its impressive plunge and scenic surroundings.
• Activities: Enjoy the view from the viewpoints, take photographs, and explore the area.

4. Head to Barachukki Falls

• Travel Time: Approximately 30 minutes from Gaganachukki Falls.
• Details: Barachukki Falls is the other major part of the Shivanasamudra Falls and is known for its beautiful cascades and surroundings.
• Activities: Relax by the falls, take in the scenery, and enjoy a peaceful environment.

5. Lunch

• Location: You can find local eateries or small restaurants near the falls, or pack a picnic to enjoy in the natural setting.

6. Explore and Relax

• Details: Spend some time exploring the area around both falls. If you’re up for it, you can also visit the nearby temples.

7. Return to Bangalore

• Departure Time: Whenever you are feel like, before 3 PM
• Expected Arrival Time: By 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, depending on traffic conditions.
